Position Overview
Perform SIGINT survey operations to recover and document all aspects of signals and structures in a targeted environment, validate the contents and structures and document any changes, and recover specific technologies, structures, channels, or content and report results as required.
Use specialized Government developed processing and analysis capabilities to analyze and process SIGINT data.
Use COTS devices to execute survey and collection operations
Populate and extract information to and from, respectively, specialized SIGINT databases
Document analytical and survey results
Assist and advise NSA analysts on effective tasking, targeting, and defeating of environment to ensure the highest priority intelligence is exploited
Participate in system engineering processes to ensure new and existing exploitation platforms are functional and productive
Review system engineering documentation and provide input to assist with the determination of the scope of work to be performed and assist with defining the requirements to pursue.
Participate in Intelligence Community working groups relevant to assigned projects. As necessary, create and present briefings to a wide variety of audiences
Establish and grow relationships with SIGINT Development organizations to leverage knowledge and expertise, and to share unique perspectives
Apply methods and tools to develop targets and find new sources of information in support of current and developmental projects
Identify reportable content and key intelligence items of interest
Required Skills
Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
2 years experience working with SIGINT collection capabilities, tasking procedures, and dataflow
2 years with in the last 5 years, experience using the NSA SIGDEV analytic tools and signals development tools
Desired Skills
Demonstrated use of data network tools and corporate SIGDEV repositories
Demonstrated understanding of telecommunications networks and network technologies, especially the layer 1, 2, and 3 levels
