- Regulatory Compliance & Licensing : Assist with the Health Services Firm license application, ensuring the agency meets all NJ Division of Consumer Affairs requirements (previous experience appreciated but not required)
- Clinical Oversight : Supervise home health aides (CHHAs), review care plans, and ensure compliance with NJ Board of Nursing regulations
- Training & Supervision : Conduct competency evaluations, in-service training, and periodic performance reviews for caregivers
- Client Assessments : Perform initial and ongoing client assessments, develop personalized care plans, and coordinate with families and caregivers
- Policy Development : Assist with drafting and maintaining agency policies and procedures in line with NJ state regulations and industry best practices
- Quality Assurance : Monitor service delivery, address client concerns, and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Assist with gaining and maintaining Commission on Accreditation for Home Care accreditation
- Collaboration : Work closely with the agency owner, caregivers, and clients to ensure a high standard of care
- Care team development : Assist with hiring qualified and compassionate care professionals
- Active NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Experience in home care, hospice, or community-based healthcare settings preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to train and supervise home health aides (CHHAs)
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Valid drivers license
