Job Title: Cost Manager
Location: Jeffersonville, Ohio (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to $130,000 a year

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Cost Reporting
- Reviews and issues detailed cost reports to the construction team.
- Analyzes cash flow and shares the report with the client's finance and construction teams.
Change Order Management
- Evaluates and processes all change orders in accordance with the client’s approval process.
Invoice Processing
- Ensures timely processing of all invoices by the cost team.
Procurement Services
- Provides procurement support for construction and engineering services, including preparing RFPs and conducting bid analysis.
Subcontractor Oversight
- Reviews contractor buyouts of subcontractor bid packages and provides updates to the client.
Cost Meetings
- Leads bi-weekly meetings to review procurement and change order statuses with contractors and engineering teams.
Value Engineering
- Provides cost analysis for value engineering initiatives.
Earned Value Analysis
- Conducts periodic earned value analysis for project tracking.
Close-out Administration
- Reviews contractor close-out activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Legal Support
- Assists the client with cost-related issues tied to legal matters, such as contractor non-performance or mechanical liens.
Trade Coverage
- Covers cost-related aspects for Electrical, Mechanical, and CSA trades.
Additional Duties
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
Problem-Solving & Decision Making
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and sound decision-making abilities.
Communication Skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Project Management Software
- Proficient in Primavera or Microsoft Project.
Construction Contract Knowledge
- Experienced in administering construction contracts, including understanding liens and AIA contracts.
Technology Proficiency
- Proficient in using Information Technology tools such as Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project.
