Position Summary :
This role leads the packaging engineering team, overseeing packaging design, development, and optimization. The position ensures compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards while driving innovation and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the packaging engineering team and manage packaging development projects.
- Collaborate with HQ and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of packaging strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and vendors to align packaging with brand and product goals.
- Oversee new product development and commercialization processes for packaging.
- Design sustainable packaging solutions that align with cost-effectiveness and environmental impact goals.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices, and competitor packaging strategies.
- Conduct R&D scale-up testing and ensure packaging integrity in production.
- Report project progress using MS Project software.
- Apply knowledge of food microbiology and chemistry to identify and resolve product defects.
