Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and layout for installations.
- Assemble and install HVAC components, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Utilize stick welding techniques to join metal parts securely.
- Perform tube bending operations to create custom fittings as required.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Requirements
- Must have up to date TWIC Card and Offshore Training Certifications!
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques with a focus on stick welding.
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards relevant to the construction industry.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and installation practices.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately for effective project execution.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fitting processes.
- Experience working on construction sites, demonstrating an understanding of safety practices.
- Competence in tube bending operations and rigging techniques.
