What You'll Do:
As a Package Sorter, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that parcels and mail reach their destinations seamlessly. Here's a glimpse of what your day-to-day will look like:
Key Responsibilities:
- Get those setups ready! You'll be assembling setups for DDU sort frames, staging areas, New Ops stations, and any other production floor departments that need a hand.
- It's all in the details. You'll process DDU parcel sacks, conducting quality checks on contents and labels to ensure everything is ship-shape.
- Keep things moving smoothly. Scan sack labels, link them to the right containers, and ensure accurate stroke counts before staging containers for dispatch.
- Load 'em up! You'll be loading completed containers onto the proper tour, making sure everything's set to hit the road on time.
What You Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with at least 6 months of related experience.
- You're a communication champ. Fluent in English, you can easily understand and carry out instructions, both written and oral.
- Math whiz? Even better. You'll need to handle basic math processes like addition and subtraction with ease.
- Team player mentality. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can work efficiently under supervision.
- Ready for action. Whether it's standing, walking, or lifting up to 50 lbs, you're up for the challenge.
