This role will be responsible for the data analysis, data cleansing, reporting, data modelling & monitoring for different DHL functions / areas. Develop statistical / mathematical / analytical models and interpret the model results in the business context and prepare them for discussions with business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform sophisticated data analyses and cleansing, including evaluating data to determine data validity, identify patterns, trends and / or outliers
- Create reports, visualizations, presentations & executive summaries to present findings to stake-holders to review, analyze, and action
- Support the execution of data science projects
- Involvement in the analysis of the business processes for derivation of problem areas and analytical requirements to propose and execute appropriate mathematical methods and interpret the results with guidance
- Find opportunities to improvise and automate existing reports, tools and solutions
- Identify key barriers / core problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems
- Support the anchoring of data-driven decisions in operating business
- Explain facts, policies and practices related to job area & facilitate data science trainings
- Frequent contact with business representatives to understand analytical needs and to report on outcome
