Job Description
DHL Supply Chain's Real Estate Solutions (RES) is changing the way DHL's customers locate and design their warehouses to maximize supply chain effectiveness. RES is the real estate investment and development business of DHL Supply Chain, outpacing our competitors in both development and logistics industries alike in 20 countries. As the world leader in 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) we combine DHL's operational know-how and customer supply chain insights with our real estate development and capital markets expertise.
The RES Development Director (NORAM) will identify, manage and deliver direct development opportunities for DHL Supply Chain and external customers in the region (particularly south-east USA) in line with RES strategy targets and beyond. We are seeking a recognized and major player in the Logistics and Industrial Real Estate market to join our team as the Development Director for NORAM.
Responsibilities
- Identify real estate opportunities for Portfolio Refresh by reviewing lease events
- Identify opportunities for Strategic Investment ahead of demand and for Customer specific needs
- In conjunction with DHL Supply Chain, identify potential Customers for all real estate opportunities
- Maximize Customer benefit through delivery of six key services :

Required Education and Experience
5-10 years’ experience in Development in the Logistics and Industrial Real Estate market, required
Strategic thinker with excellent market knowledge and a track record of successful development projects, required
Strong influencing skills both internal and external and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines, required
