-Position: First (1st) Shift Group Coordinator Lead

• Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm, Thursday-Saturday
• Pay: $21.00 per hour.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate should also have the following: Production, Warehouse, General Labor, Line Operator, Forklift, Quality Control, Material Handler, Machine Operator, Loader/Unloader, Order Picker, Order Picking, Shipping, Outbound, RF, WMS, Reach Truck

• Learn and manage the workflow and work duty allocation for team members within all departments of the facility to include: Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping / Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting areas.
• Have 3 years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires making decisions and leading other associates in their daily tasks.
• Be responsible for training associates and work groups in daily tasks
• At least 1 year experience safely operating Forklift equipment to include: High Reach truck, sit-down, stand-up, order picker is strongly preferred and given first preference
• 1 year experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct training for new associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Required Education and Experience:

• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• 6-12 months forklift operation experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
