Job Description
De Haro Ramirez Group is an established commercial Concrete Contractor in San Francisco. We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team! The Concrete Project Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely preparation of all construction related documents. The Project Engineer is responsible for the overall control and flow of information for the projects from beginning to completion.
- Core duties and responsibilities evolve around supporting the Project Management team, Operations, as well as our clients.
- Review bid proposals and understanding of contract language and project scope.
- Understanding of project Specifications and Drawings, including RFIs / ASIs.
- Prepare Concrete and Shop Drawing Expeditors.
- Prepare Product Data Submittals.
- Prepare mock-up schedules.
- Preparation of RFIs.
- Coordinate Project Closeouts.
- Oversees all aspects of document control and Coordination of project documentation for field use (submittals, RFI’s, etc.).
- Identify cost impacts due to changes in scope of work. Assist with Change Order Requests and maintain Change Order Logs.
- Ability to communicate effectively. Excellent math and computer skills.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish helpful, but not required.
Minimum Requirements
College degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years of experience in the construction industry.
Ability to communicate effectively. Excellent math and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Familiar with PlanGrid, HH2, Total Station, Extracker, Bluebeam).
Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.
Bilingual in Spanish helpful, but not required.
