Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
2. Health Promotion: Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
3. Chronic Disease Management: Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and others, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
4. Acute Care: Assess and treat acute medical conditions, injuries, and infections.
5. Physical Examinations: Conduct thorough physical examinations to assess patients' overall health status and detect any underlying medical conditions.
6. Medication Management: Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor patients for efficacy and adverse effects.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
8. Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
9. Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' healthcare needs and collaborate with them to develop individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications:

1. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
2. Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
3. State medical license and DEA registration.
4. Excellent clinical skills and bedside manner.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment.
7. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Experience:

1. Previous experience in outpatient primary care settings preferred but not required.
