Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service with a strong sense of urgency in resolving member issues
- Assist Account Managers with various tasks
- Manage back-office operations, including training and accurate execution of tasks
- Handle certificates, endorsements, loss runs, MVRs, and cancellations
- Process billing inquiries and follow up on non-payment issues
- Ensure timely issuance of renewal certificates and Auto ID cards
- Maintain accurate records with strong adherence to documenting and naming standard procedures
- Utilize a strong follow-up system to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Take detailed notes and actively listen to understand client needs
- Provide backup support to team members as needed
- Assist with document communication and respond promptly to emails, calls, and mail
- Collaborate with Account Managers on account activities and potential issues
- Mentor other assistant account managers and contribute to personal and organizational development
- Active California Property and Casualty insurance license
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry
- Construction background a plus
- Highly empathetic with strong active listening skills
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Strong note-taking abilities and adherence to documentation standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong follow-up system
