Job Description
Job Title: Sandwich/Salad Associate
Department: Operations
Reports To: Store Manager

Job Duties
- In a timely fashion, organize, prepare, and fill food orders according to company specifications and recipes
- Follow SOPs and standardized recipes in order to consistently prepare quality products; specifically, salads and sandwiches for timely delivery to retail stores and for catering events
- Establish and maintain production pace, by beginning and completing each sandwich and salad with exactness, according to a strict time schedule
- Ability to work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with peers and collaborate with team members
- Complete production lists according to company specifications and recipes in a timely manner
- Proficiency in completing production lists according to company specifications and recipes in a timely manner
- Perform closing procedures, including cleaning stations, storing food items to maintain freshness and leaving the department ready for tasks to take place the next shift
- Practice safe operating procedures of all equipment, utensils and machinery
- Utilize safety training in lifting, carrying, hazardous material control, chemical control, first aid and CPR
Qualifications
- Experience with knives in culinary environment
- Flexible schedule; nights and weekends required
- Solid organizational skills
- Ability to communicate as needed with customers, superiors, and peers
- Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
- Ability to move or handle product and supplies
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Open availability to work a part time schedule dependent on business needs
