What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative (in-person, New Orleans) position at Diáfano?
As a Sales Representative, you will accompany our Founder to expos, exhibitions, and industry events, sometimes exhibiting alongside them. You'll attend talks, engage in networking, and conduct competitive analysis to help grow our business. Your primary focus will be building connections and generating leads. An interest in education is key, and a background in sales or business development is ideal. Must be based in New Orleans and must be available the whole day from March 5-8, 2025.
Experience selling to schools and/or school districts is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Must be based in New Orleans.
- Must be available the whole day from March 5-8, 2025.
- Accompany our Founder at expos, exhibitions, and events.
- Attend industry talks and engage in networking to generate new leads.
- Conduct competitive analysis to inform sales strategies.
- Develop new customer relationships and identify potential partnerships.
- Work closely with the Founder to understand our products and services and communicate their benefits to prospects.
- Follow up with leads and close deals in a timely manner.
About You:
- Interest in education and passion for networking.
- Ideally, a background in sales or business development.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in sales, especially with schools or educational institutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Pay: $18-22 per hour.
