We are looking for a skilled Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties in the Wilmington area. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with irrigation systems, landscape lighting (helpful), a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, pipes, and controllers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve irrigation issues such as leaks, pressure problems, and system malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Adjust and program irrigation controllers for optimal water distribution.
- Work with clients to assess watering needs and provide recommendations.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in irrigation installation, repair, or landscaping.
- Knowledge of different irrigation systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment necessary for irrigation work.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
