Job Description:
- The SeniorAnalyst will serve as a subject matter expert and trainer in Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate within the VDOT Business Integrated Solutions Division.This role is essential for empowering VDOT employees to leverage Microsoft'sPower Platform tools for creating applications and developing automatedworkflows. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of these tools andexperience in teaching others how to use them effectively. Candidate should beable to demonstrate their working knowledge of the tools during the interviewprocess.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into customized Power Apps solutions and automated workflows.
- Provide guidance on best practices for Power Platform adoption, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Serve as a technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle, offering support for teams implementing Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
- Integrate organizational change management practices into training and adoption strategies to ensure smooth transitions and high user engagement.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, including building custom applications and creating automated workflows.
- Strong understanding of process analysis and improvement, with the ability to identify automation opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with change management principles to ensure smooth technology adoption.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, or related Power Platform tools.
- Background in data analysis, database management, or data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working within public sector or transportation-focused organizations is a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- IT Experience as a Senior Developer/Technical Lead Required 8 Years
- Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office 3NA Required 5 Years
- Experience in designing, implementing, and migrating solutions utilizing Power Platforms, including all Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate (Flow) Required 3 Years
- Experience using PowerShell Scripting Required 4 Years
- Custom Development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C# Required 5 Years
- Experience using standard & premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate Required 3 Years
- Experience with MS Access and VBA to understand and redesign Power Apps Required 3 Years
- Developing Azure logic apps and functions providing support for Power Automate Required 3 Years
- Devops in Power Platform Required 2 Years
