A growing Endocrinology solo practice in Montgomery County, Maryland is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner for full or part-time employment. This is an out-patient practice with Monday-Friday working hours, including televisit flexibility.
You will be taking care of patients with Diabetes and general Endocrinology disorders. Duties include conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients’ health. Experience with Insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitors, diabetes and thyroid management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills together with strong organizational skills. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification is highly desirable. Must have current license to practice in the state of Maryland. You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. Responsibilities

- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, Imaging etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions and propose treatments
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Oversee patients’ overall health and educate them
