NOTE: Previous medical office experience is required for this role. The hours are currently full days Monday, Thursday, and Friday. There is an option to move to full time hours.

As a Medical Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will support the provider and the patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
The right fit for this role is someone with excellent patient management skills and a demonstrated ability to take ownership over patient care. You will have a high level of responsibility for ensuring that patients get their questions answered, our relationships with our partner facilities are strong, and our outgoing and incoming referrals are managed well so all patients are getting the proper care they need.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients with a friendly face at the clinic and make them feel sincerely cared for
- Answer phones and handle patient follow up in a respectful and timely manner
- Manage relationships with other clinics, hospitals, and other medical facilities
- Track patient referrals, both incoming and outgoing
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Manage all incoming and outgoing records requests for the practice
- Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
- Arrange surgeries where necessary
