Diabetomics, Inc. is a leading medical diagnostics company serving the needs of personalized health and diabetes risk assessment and management. Diabetomics, Inc. is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our established team.
Essential Functions:
The Manufacturing Technician supports the Production Team by performing a variety of assembly and non-assembly functions in support of lateral flow device production goals. This is a hands-on, bench-level laboratory position.
The Successful Candidate:
Manufactures lateral flow products according to established SOPs, including preparation of materials, production, assembly, and packaging of Diabetomics Inc. products.
Operates lab equipment used to manufacture products according to procedures. Maintains thorough, accurate and detailed documentation of all work performed using existing document templates and software applications.
Recognizes product or equipment problems that arise during the manufacturing process.
Ensures compliance with the requirements of working in a regulated environment to assure adherence to various requirements, including Design Control, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Helps to coordinate general laboratory tasks such as reagent preparation, inventory, laboratory clean up and organization of work. Performs other duties and assumes additional departmental responsibilities as required. Performs other assignments and tasks as directed.
Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job. Has awareness of device defects that may occur in the area of responsibility, including product manufacturing and testing activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 0-2 years of related job experience
* Basic knowledge of regulations (FDA, ISO, OSHA, etc.)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to understand, prepare, and communicate technical scientific information
* Basic computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office suite
Preferred:
* Associates or better in relevant biological science
* Experience in medical device manufacturing
* Excellent cross-functional team participation skills.
* Consistently displays a positive, patient attitude and extends respect and courtesy toward Supervisors and peers alike.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; flexible and quickly adaptable to changing priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
