What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A Driver position at Diablo Convoy?
Operations
- Must have LTL or customer to customer delivery experience- 13-17 stops per day- Palletized freight.
- Pallet Jack from dock to truck.
- Good communication skills- effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- M-F Schedule- Start time 6-7am.
- Operate all equipment in a safe, responsible and professional manner.
- New Peterbilt Day Cabs- 53' Trailers.
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience is required.
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must have the ability to read, write, speak English, and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental abilities to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Clean MVR.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test (registered in Clearinghouse account).
