Context/Scope
The Market Specialist with an On-Premise focus is responsible for driving sales growth and brand presence in on-premise venues such as bars, restaurants, hotels, and nightclubs. This role involves developing strong relationships with venue owners and managers, executing promotional activities, and ensuring effective merchandising of Diageo Non-Alcohol brands (DNAB).
Financial/People Leadership
The Market Specialists do not have direct reports although manage distributor accountability.

Accountabilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets in on-premise channels.
- Identify opportunities to increase product distribution and visibility in key accounts.
- Execute sales plans that align with overall brand objectives with distributor management partnership.
- Distributor execution management through ride alongs and market visits.
- Works towards driving Sales Metrics KPIs for excellence in execution
- Educates and builds key relationships with bartenders and front line representation of the brand.
- Ensure compliance all relevant regulations/company policies all activities
- Maintain accurate records/documentation related on-premise activations/results
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for their respective local market.
- Ability to engage, influence and coordinate wholesalers and distributors.
- Self-starter with strong ability to influence with data and fact-based selling strategies.
- 3 Years working in sales or trade management; on-premise expertise and focus highly preferred.
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives with excellent time management skills; ability prioritize tasks meet deadlines
