MRI or CT Technologist
4 ten hour shifts (730-530p and 8a-6p) with a rotating Saturdays 730-12p every 4-6 weeks. Applicant can choose Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday as set day off.

We are currently looking for an experienced technologist to play an active role and join our Diagnostic Imaging Centers team. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who desires a challenging position. We are willing to cross train the right applicant!
Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable and competent in proper MRI or CT protocols and techniques for the procedure.
- Follows ACR standards and applicable policies and procedures.
- Prepares room for procedure. Select proper coils and positioning pads.
- Provides protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
- Positions patients properly, provide immobilization devices as required.
- Strong Patient Care skills, professional and self-motivated.
- Selects proper technical factors and protocols on an individual basis for each examination.
- Prepare and/or administer contrast media.
- Practices universal precautions for infection control.
- Possesses knowledge of sterile technique.
- Possesses IV/Venipuncture competency as required.
- Recognize emergency situations and initiate emergency procedures.
Qualifications

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography

Basic CPR Certification
-
1 Year MRI Experience, preferred

Kansas License preferred

CT Experience preferred
