Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Medical Courier with their own vehicle as a 1099 Independent Contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for recovering one daily shipment at Boston Logan airport cargo and deliver to a local medical laboratory. The recovery and delivery is scheduled between 6 am and 9 am ET daily from Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience in medical logistics. You must possess and valid driver’s license and have medical logistics experience. This is a 1099 position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicle to deliver product to designated laboratory.
- Load and unload shipment, ensuring it is secured properly during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps to optimize delivery routes.
Skills
- Experience in medical logistics is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform moving tasks, including lifting heavy items safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
