What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant assistant position at Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries?
General Responsibilities :
- Responsible for assisting with the presentation of daily activities and special events.
- Maintains the resident's medical records for activities as assigned and records resident's participation and attendance at activity programs.
- Plans outings, schedules trips and arranges transportation; transports and escorts residents, as required.
Education / Training : A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills
Experience : A minimum of one (1) year's experience normally required; prior experience in an interdisciplinary setting with creative programming for adult population preferred.
ADA : Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
