What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foster Family Recruiter/Licensor (Global Refuge) position at Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries?

General Responsibilities :
- Coordinates the scheduling, development, and implementation of recruitment activities to maintain a pool of diverse and culturally sensitive families for the UC Foster Care programs.
- Foster strategic partnerships with community stakeholders.
- Accompanies prospective foster families through the application and licensure process with support and a working knowledge of the ORR Foster Care programs and local state licensing requirements.
- Oversees foster family orientation and training.
- Manages retention efforts by developing and facilitating supportive activities for existing foster families.
Education / Training : Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields of study from an accredited college required. Experience : A minimum of one (1) year of experience in child welfare and / or case management experience is strongly encouraged. Bi-lingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.
ADA : Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills
