Job Summary:

This role is a direct report to the Production Manager and Director of Operations. This role will work to provide a genuine experience to customers with professionalism, poise, and patience. A passion for cannabis coupled with a strong adherence to protocol and compliance are a must. The driver will work to deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. This person will be responsible for reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. They will assist the distribution team whenever they are not making deliveries.

Essential Duties and Tasks:

• Ensure all packaged outgoing deliveries are accurate and have been documented in the company systems tracker
• Pre-trip vehicle inspection, making sure that transportation is in good working order and gassed up
• Load the delivery van at the beginning of the day for deliveries that will happen throughout the day
• Ensure all packages that need to be delivered in coolers are packaged with ice packs and labeled appropriately
• Interpret and execute state laws and regulations required when delivering medical and recreational cannabis products
• Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to complete routine maintenance tasks (changing tires, check and add fluids, etc)
• Manage all documents associated with cannabis delivery, ensuring that proper documents are kept and manifests are returned completed and ready for filing
• Maintain positive professional relationships with dispensary staff
• Timely and effective communication when issues arise while making deliveries
• Assist the distribution team and/or production team before and after deliveries are completed
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to cross train in distribution and production

Experience Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years old or older and a Ohio Resident
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Must have(past 5 years) and maintain a clean motor vehicle driving record
• Maintain safety at all times while on the road
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insured
• Current and valid Ohio MED Badge or ability to get one
• High School GED, diploma or equivalent
• High attention to details and goal driven
• Must consent to and successfully pass a background check
• Ability to communicate professionally in person and to effectively explain all variations of cannabis products to guests, if necessary
• Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions
• Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time while maintaining focus
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50lbs (100lbs with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with product
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs
• Computer and software fluent (Google Workspace, Trello, Leaf-Link, METRC) and the ability to learn payment processing
• Professional knowledge and working experience of cannabis products from a regulated perspective

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
