What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse position at Dialysis Center of Lincoln NE?
Join us at The Dialysis Center of Lincoln as a nurse! Our nurses provide life sustaining treatments to patients with end stage renal disease in an outpatient clinic setting.
Previous dialysis or nephrology nursing experience NOT required. NEW GRADS WELCOME!!
The Dialysis Center of Lincoln provides 12 weeks of paid comprehensive training that includes both classroom and hands on training.
As an outpatient dialysis nurse you can expect to work in an outpatient clinic, day shift hours, with the shifts typically being 10-12 hours a day, 3-4 days a week. Clinics are closed on Sundays.
Our nurses work with patient ratios of 4 patients at a times, with the support of patient care technicians.
Qualifications
LPN or RN licensure in the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act.
Basic life support/CPR certification required.
