Memphis Redbirds are actively seeking an Account Executive to join their highly dynamic Ticket Sales Team. We believe that Ticket Sales is a vital part of our teams' performance, and our Account Executives play a critical role in that success. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing within the sports industry and curious to learn the inner workings of our business at every level. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for, but not limited to, the sales of new Full, Partial, and Group ticket packages and Hospitality spaces.
- Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
- Input data and maintain current data within the CRM system to grow established relationships and generate new leads.
- Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture, and personal database management.
- Provide a superior level of customer service to existing and new business clients.
- Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas, and programs as a means of producing new business sales opportunities.
- Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members.
- Participate and contribute to daily or weekly sales team meetings and training sessions.
- Other duties as assigned including but not limited to being on-call to pull tarp and set-up Saturday/holiday fireworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 6 months of sales or customer service experience
- Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships, preferably within the sports industry
- Have a friendly and professional telephone manner
- Strong desire to learn about our business and grow your professional career
- Ability to effectively express ideas verbally and in writing
- Possess a positive attitude
- Maintain a flexible work schedule
- Other duties as assigned
