The Omaha Storm Chasers, along with Union Omaha, are actively seeking an Ticket Sales Executive to join our highly dynamic sales team. We believe that ticket sales are a vital part of our teams' performance, and our Ticket Sales Executive will play a critical role in that success. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing within the sports industry and curious to learn the inner workings of our business at every level. The individual in this position is expected not only to be an exceptional salesperson but also to deliver outstanding customer service to all clients to ensure fan retention and to establish a positive experience with our brands. This role will work with both organizations, but will spend over half of the time focused specifically on Union Omaha ticket sales and packages.
Responsibilities (Applicable to DBH Omaha, LLC, and Alliance Omaha Soccer, LLC):
- Assist in development and implementation of season ticket sales plan(s) designed to meet annual goals set by the organization
- Achieve team and individual sales goals, monitor daily, weekly and monthly results
- Research, develop and manage a list of potential new partners
- Build and foster relationships with past, current and potential new clients, corporate partners, the media, the fans and the community
- Network and build relationships in Omaha and the surrounding region
- Make sales calls to area organizations and follow up as necessary
- Create and develop comprehensive proposals and presentations to meet clients objectives
- Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers
- Set appointments, show seats, and give ballpark tours with the intent to close business
- Represent the organization at in-house ballpark events and off-site community events promoting ticket sales and the organization
- Maintain records of all customers and prospects by utilizing CRM tool
- Enhance and generate revenue through season, group and individual ticket sales
- Responsible for the servicing and customer retention of existing clients
- Work with the front office team to achieve the objectives of the advertising sales, marketing, tickets and community relations departments
- Provide excellent customer service and care to all customers and prospects
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in sales, customer service, and/or ticket operations preferred
- Prior experience with ticketing software preferred
- Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships, preferably within the sports industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Suite, Internet and database programs
- Valid drivers license and ability to drive for organizational business
