About Diamond C Trailers
We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer for Trailer Manufacturing to join our team. As a senior member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing new trailer structures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include designing and modeling new trailer structures, updating existing structures and manufacturing processes, managing multiple projects, and overseeing team and vendor project timelines. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting project updates to management and executive team members, ensuring proper communication between Product Engineers and other organization departments, and collaborating with a team of engineers and fabricators to see products from initial concept to production.
Responsibilities:
- Design and model new trailer structures.
- Update existing structures and manufacturing processes.
- Manage multiple projects from initial design to final completion.
- Oversee team and vendor project timelines.
- Prepare and present project updates to management and executive team members.
Requirements:
- B.S.M.E/MSME degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 4 years in a product development engineering role.
- Expertise in structural design and material selection.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Efficient organizational skills.
