Diamond Cellar is seeking a full time shipping and receiving clerk for our Sawmill Road location. This is primarily an administrative office environment. We will train the successful candidate in this particular shipping role as it relates to our office environment.
You will be responsible for opening incoming packages, match merchandise to purchase orders and job envelopes. The successful candidate will route packages to appropriate personnel. You will prepare all outgoing packages via designated method and ensure in each and every instance that adequate insured value is identified and insurance is obtained and confirmed for the item being shipped regardless of ownership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the FedEx shipping system and supplies, postage meter and supplies as well as mailing supplies and stamps. You will also be responsible for keeping supply cabinets organized and procure office supplies.
You must exhibit the following traits: attention to detail, multi-tasking with ability to prioritize, excellent organizational skills, as well as the highest level of trust and confidentiality.
