Diamond Cellar is looking to add a passionate Graphic Designer to our in-house marketing team in our Columbus, Ohio office. This is a full-time, on-premise position. Our ideal candidate would be responsible for creating new assets from print to web to digital, while maintaining brand consistency across all platforms. A Graphic Designer will find success in this position if they possess a positive can-do attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment where they must juggle multiple projects. Must be flexible, anticipate problems, and tackle a wide range of creative requests, both big and small.
Duties include leading all stages of the design process for projects, including concept development and execution, art direction, and collaboration with the marketing team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating marketing campaigns, print projects and in-store collateral from concept to completion for 4 stores across 3 states. The ideal candidate is someone with experience creating assets for print, digital and large format, with critical thinking skills and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and lead company magazine biannually including concepting, creating roadmap, layout/design of magazine and meeting print deadlines
• Design and deliver innovative creative concepts that support corporate branding and business goals
• Manage the overall brand look and feel while continuously enhancing brand style guidelines
• Lead the artistic development of marketing and promotional pieces, including print/digital, social media, OOH, signage, packaging, etc.
• Review artwork proofs from brand partners and outside vendors for accuracy and brand consistency
• Provide feedback/direction to the marketing team as needed to ensure all visuals effectively communicate the message and meets brand guidelines.
• Work closely with printing vendors on cost estimates, specifications for print projects and production to ensure the finished project is delivered within those parameters
• Creating and ordering all store collateral
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
• 3-5 years minimum experience in graphic design • Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• A team player attitude
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail to meet deadlines
• Ability to think conceptually, creatively and strategically
