Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee our concrete sawing field technicians and dispatch operations. This role will involve :
Managing teams across various locations,
Ensuring seamless dispatching and operational efficiency
Exceptional service delivery, including answering phones and taking service calls as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field operations supervision, logistics, and team leadership within the construction or concrete industry and will report directly to Diamond’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Key Responsibilities :
- Dispatch Coordination : Oversee daily dispatch operations, scheduling personnel and equipment to various job sites throughout Michigan and other bordering states while optimizing routes and minimizing downtime.
- Team Management : Lead teams of field technicians, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
- Service Calls : Answer and take service calls, assisting customers with scheduling, and providing updates as needed.
- Safety Compliance : Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety among the workforce (e.g., DOT compliance, respiratory protection, driver qualifications).
- Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact between field operations and upper management, providing regular updates on project status, personnel needs, and resource allocation.
- Client Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
