Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Driller to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating drilling equipment on construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of drilling tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate various types of drilling equipment, including horizontal drilling machinery, to complete assigned projects.
- Perform heavy equipment operations such as bulldozing, loader operation, and grader operation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that drilling activities align with project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in preparing construction sites by paving and building necessary structures or supports for drilling operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including bulldozers, loaders, and graders.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain drilling machinery effectively.
- Experience with horizontal drilling techniques and practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a construction site environment, adapting to changing conditions and challenges.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication among crew members.
- Commercial driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
