Dental Front Desk / Patient Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
- Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
- Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
- Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the clinical staff.
- Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
- Verifying patient dental insurance benefits.
- Processing dental insurance claims
- Explaining insurance benefits to patients.
- Presenting treatment plans to patients.
- Processing payments and refunds.
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Dental Front Desk / Patient Coordinator Job Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience at the front desk of a dental office. Knowledge of dental patient management software and systems. Knowledge of Dental insurance claims processes and procedures. Knowledge of treatment planning and case presentation.
Work Hours:
This position offers approximately 35-40 hours per week. Our office is open to treat patients Monday and Tuesday 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and either Friday or Saturday (alternating) from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Salary and Benefits:
This position offers $20-25 per hour, incentives and bonuses, based upon experience and talent.
