JOB TITLE : Real-Time Systems Analysts - SCADA & Generation Controls
JOB DUTIES : Multiple openings available. Maintain highly available SCADA systems, including SCADA applications & database, server platform, & secure networks / system connectivity; Coordinate & plan overall SCADA network design in conjunction with networking team; Interface with internal and external customers to understand requirements, design solutions, and effectively communicate status of activities; Oversee implementation of new customer / plant integration into SCADA solution, including application, networking, field / RTU integration; Lead business continuity & disaster recovery efforts to ensure resiliency in operations; Serve as system lead during routine and unplanned maintenance; Ensure rapid recovery of critical systems and adequate root cause analysis to prevent recurring failure modes; Work with team to provide on-call coverage for SCADA Systems emergencies and dispatch team support; Manage integration between SCADA and data historian, including ability to extract data from historian for reporting purposes; and Use multiple different graphics packages employed by OSII Monarch and PI Vision to develop and build more effective graphic representations of the real time and historic assets and markets conditions. Position requires travel to our data centers in Marlborough, MA (trip length of one day, occurs on average once every two months) and Valley Forge, PA (trip length of two days, occurs 1-2 times per year).
REQUIREMENTS : Position requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely-related engineering discipline and 24 months experience in a regulated environment managing a SCADA platform and its communication protocols, where such experience included working with OSISoft PI and associated PI-Vision and Data Historian modules.
