This role is responsible for ensuring all materials and equipment needed for upcoming jobs are properly prepared and loaded for the team. This includes verifying that all material sheets are filled out accurately for items leaving the shop. Managing overstocked materials for return to the vendor. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all jobs and installations run smoothly by maintaining an organized, stocked, and efficient operation. This individual also supports service technicians by maintaining the service aisle, restocking supplies, and processing necessary orders.

Job Duties

• Pulling and loading materials and equipment for jobs scheduled the next day.
• Maintaining accurate records for material and equipment issued from the shop.
• Managing returns of overstocked items to vendors and coordinating with the Installation Coordinator for returns.
• Receiving and checking in stock orders, ensuring all items are accounted for.
• Ensuring a clean and organized warehouse and yard, with efficient shelving and inventory control.
• Assisting installers with loading/unloading vans and materials.
• Supporting service technicians by pulling and restocking materials in the service aisle.
• Managing inventory by generating and processing purchase orders (POs).
• Operating forklifts to load/unload heavy items as necessary.
• Facilitating warranty parts returns and processing warranty claims.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 2 years relevant work experience
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Prior warehouse experience helpful
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
