Diamond Home Health is looking for qualified and compassionate CNA, HHA or caregiver to provide assistance and care to our clients in Northern Virginia. Job requirements:
- Must consent to background check.
- Must hold certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- TB/Chest Xray clearance
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (Compliant with I-9 requirements.)
- Must possess good communication skills; written and oral.
- Experience working with seniors required.
- Preferred experience and/or training in Dementia
- Professional attire and demeanor required.
Duties:
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (i.e. bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Meal preparation, cooking, and nutritional guidance
- Light housekeeping, laundry, changing bed linens
- Transportation to doctor appointments, pharmacy, market, etc.
- Transfers (i.e. from bed to wheelchair)
- Medication reminders
- Companionship, mental and social stimulation
- Exercise and physical assistance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
