Diamond Home Improvement is seeking a Marketing Manager to manage our business’ varied and evolving marketing ventures. An ideal candidate will be a highly creative professional with a strong attention to detail who possesses a commitment to effectively implementing and expanding our marketing strategies, as well as the capacity to keenly analyze and assess those strategies and their overall outcomes. The Marketing Manager works and interacts regularly with company executives, management teams, fellow employees, vendors and customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and must be able to communicate clearly and productively with others. We are especially interested in candidates with a strong command of managing graphic design, e-commerce, digital marketing, social media and search engine optimization.
Key Responsibilities
· Plans, manages and executes website, SEO, digital marketing, email, social media, radio, and display advertising campaigns.
· Measures and reports the performance of all marketing campaigns and assesses outcomes against goals, highlighting the return on investment and key performance indicators.
· Manages and maintains our company’s brand and image, while engaging with store executives and the sales/purchasing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers to our store and keep current clients coming through our doors.
· Collaborates with store executives to make high-level decisions regarding the marketing budget and the direction of the company’s branding and marketing strategies.
· Provides internal marketing support to store teams in two locations (Klamath Falls, OR and Grants Pass, OR).
· Assists in preparing the annual marketing budget with store executives; manages and monitors the company’s marketing budget by tracking expenses and reporting any variances; provides feedback regarding the budget when requested.
· Manages and provides content, proofreading, art production/direction for circulars, direct mailings and newspaper marketing.
· Oversees and organizes special events in which the company participates or hosts. Includes developing messaging, organizing/producing communication tools, scheduling deliverables and advertisements, and tending to event-day needs as necessary.
Desired Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or other related field
(NOTE: Prior work experience may serve in place of this desired degree in some instances.)
· Ability to develop and implement data-gathering techniques to support findings regarding the overall return on investment in regards to all marketing campaigns; ultimately using those findings to help guide future marketing campaigns for the company
· Innovation and creativity to carry out and manage new marketing strategies
· Strong copywriting and proof-reading/editing skills
· Experience running and managing a marketing team
· Proven marketing campaign experience
· Effective time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize and pivot when necessary
· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
