Pet Care Associate

Diamond Kennels Resort & Spa is currently hiring a Pet Care Specialist. We are looking for a mature individual with an open schedule (Holidays and Weekends are a must). If you love taking care of dogs and cats and are serious about providing the best pet care in the business, this position will be a perfect fit for you. Diamond Kennels Resort & Spa is located on a beautiful 32 acre property in Lewisburg Ohio. We have been in the outstanding pet care business for over 22 years and specialize in making each pets stay as close to a "home away from home" experience as possible. We promote a family oriented work environment with a focus on teamwork and exceptional pet care.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Directly handling each pet during potty breaks and a wide variety of specialized activities like walks and playtimes.
• Closely following clients feeding and care instructions for each pet.
• Monitoring and reporting the daily health concerns for all pets.
• Cleaning up after pets and making sure they stay clean during their stay.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of boarding areas as well as the facility as a whole.
• This is a very physical job. You will be up and down stairs throughout the day and you will constantly be moving.

Pay and Benefits:

Starting pay for this position is $14/hr. We provide opportunities for advancement by learning more specialized skills. At each level, there is a pay increase. Each day, you will have opportunity to earn additional pay by participating in activities designed to provide the best experience to each of the pets in our care.
