About the Opportunity:
We’re a warm, loving family looking for an energetic and patient private teacher or tutor to support our two children in their academic growth. Our daughter is in 1st grade and our son is in 3rd grade. We’re seeking someone who can make learning fun, build confidence, and offer focused academic support in a comfortable home setting.
This role is perfect for someone who truly enjoys working with children, takes initiative, and brings creativity and kindness into the learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting both children in reading, writing, math, and homework
- Keeping them engaged with structured, appropriate lessons and activities
- Creating a consistent routine and positive learning environment
- Providing encouragement and helping build their academic confidence
- Communicating with parents to share progress and suggestions
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone with experience teaching or tutoring young children
- A naturally patient, caring, and creative individual
- Ability to keep children focused while making learning enjoyable
- Comfortable working with both structured lessons and hands-on learning
- Reliable and organized with a positive attitude
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working in a respectful and family-oriented home
