A well-respected healthcare provider with facilities across the United States is seeking to urgently hire a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who holds an active license in the state of Nebraska, onsite, for a nursing home in Waverly, NE.

- Thoroughly review patient medical records, including history, current medications, lab results, and any previous psychiatric assessments or interventions.
- Evaluate the patient's current mental health status, symptoms, and overall condition based on the information in the charts.
- Determine any changes or adjustments needed to the patient's psychiatric treatment plan, such as medication management, therapy recommendations, or referrals to other providers.
- Document all chart reviews, assessments, and treatment plan updates in the patient's electronic medical record.
- Coordinate with the on-site nursing staff and primary care providers to ensure the patient's psychiatric care is aligned and integrated with their overall healthcare.
- Consult and collaborate with the patient's local psychiatrist or other mental health professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care.
- Monitor patient progress and outcomes, making further adjustments to the treatment plan as required.
- Participate in regular chart review meetings or case conferences with the broader care team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all relevant healthcare regulations and policies.
- At least, 6 months of experience in long-term care,
- Active NE state license,
- Board Certified Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner,
- Experience in Psychiatry (1 year min.), and
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
