- Perform a wide range of spine surgeries, including but not limited to discectomies, spinal fusions, laminectomies, and complex reconstructive procedures, with precision and adherence to best practices,
- Diagnose and treat disorders of the spine, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerative diseases, and trauma-related conditions,
- Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, including patient consultations, surgical planning, and follow-up to ensure optimal recovery,
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, nurses, pain management specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop individualized treatment plans,
- Utilize advanced technologies and surgical techniques, such as minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery, to improve patient outcomes,
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes to support informed decision-making,
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical outcomes, patient safety, and satisfaction,
- Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care, surgical procedures, and follow-up evaluations,
- Stay at the forefront of spine surgery advancements through continuing education, professional development, and attendance at industry conferences and,
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in orthopedic surgery or neurosurgery.
- Fellowship training in spine surgery or a related subspecialty is required.
- Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery or neurosurgery.
- Active and valid medical license to practice in Kansas City.
- 5 years of experience specializing in spine procedures.
- Expertise in performing a variety of spine surgeries, including advanced techniques such as minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills for managing spinal disorders.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective patient education and team collaboration.
- Commitment to professional growth and staying updated on the latest advancements in spine surgery.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure hospital environment while delivering exemplary patient care.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
- $500,000 - $6500,000 per year.
- 2 weeks of PTO in the first year, 3 weeks after the second year.
- One week of sick days.
