What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-CDL-Driver position at Diamond Mowers?
Non-CDL Driver
Diamond Mowers is looking for someone to join our team as a non-CDL Driver. This person would report to the Scheduling Supervisor. This person would ensure the product is legally and properly secured to the vehicle. They would also use time efficiently while maintaining a schedule.
Key Roles
Communicates irregularities and ideas frequently / as needed.
Ensure loading / unloading of product is completed timely and assist as needed.
Perform parts run by picking up / dropping off small parts at local vendors.
Other duties as assigned by the Scheduling Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Safely operate vehicles in all types of weather and traffic conditions.
Adheres to all DOT safety procedures related to driving in regard to all types of company vehicles and trailers.
Practices proper safety practices; including getting on and off trucks, trailers, and forklifts; asking for assistance, or any other measure to ensure safe practices are completed.
Load and unload large pieces of self-propelled equipment such as skid loaders and farm tractors
Organized, self-disciplined, and a quick learner
Work independently and efficiently with minimal wasted time without constant direct supervision
Team player with attention to detail
Keeps neat and clean work environment.
Wears mandated PPE.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience driving preferred.
- A Valid Driver’s license is required.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks preferred.
Location and Hours:
Location: 60th St
Hours: 7:30-4:00
Days of Shift: Monday-Friday
