Robotic Welder - Days - No Weekends

Robotic Welder

The Robotic Welder Operator will report to the CI Weld Manager. They will also be responsible for the setting up and operation of computer-controlled machines or robots to perform one or more machine functions on steel products.

Key Roles:

• Read blueprints.
• Produces high quality products. (Tack parts to a tight tolerance)
• Focus on details and demonstrate efficient time management.
• Knowing when and what to pre-weld
• Repairing welds
• Ability to learn basic robotics functions and programming.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and management
• Learn all aspects of robotics product line.
• Maintain great attendance to ensure manufacturing plans are met and individual accountability.
• Ensure proper lifting techniques; including proper hoist usage, asking for assistance, or any other measure to ensure safe lifting techniques are completed.
• Keeps a neat and clean work environment
• Wears proper safety gear where/when required, Exp: weld helmet, gloves, shields and steel toed boots.
• Strive for an injury free workplace through a “safety first” attitude.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• All other duties are performed as necessary

Qualifications:

• One year of robotics experience preferred
• Welding Certification preferred.
• Forklift Certification preferred
• Blueprint Knowledge preferred.
• Weld symbol knowledge preferred.

Location and Hours:

Location: 1000 Cherokee St

Hours: 6:00-4:30

Days of Shift: Monday-Thursday
