Job Description: We are looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural and civil projects, with experience supporting the planning, execution, and management of various construction projects. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all phases of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Support the preparation and management of project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment with design specifications and standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and safety, and report findings to the Project Manager.
- Assist in the coordination of project activities, including procurement, material delivery, and subcontractor management.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support the preparation of project status reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on structural and civil projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, engineering principles, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with project stakeholders.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
