We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator for our Portland, OR office. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in conceptual estimates, negotiated work, competitive bidding, and related processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in projects valued between $2 - $25 million across commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and multifamily construction, including new builds and renovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate scopes and pricing from limited information using thorough knowledge of all construction divisions, means, and methods.
- Manage multiple estimates concurrently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in GC/subcontractor project walks to ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality, detailed, and organized estimates under pressure.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Estimating within the Commercial Construction sector.
- Prior onsite field experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project scheduling software.
- Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, SmartBid, or similar bid management software.
Compensation & Benefits:
