We are partnering with a reputable general contractor in the Portland metro area that is looking to hire an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can drive the field team and deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all field operations for ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Manage day-to-day site activities, subcontractor coordination, schedule adherence, and jobsite safety.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure project goals are met.
- Conduct site meetings, maintain project documentation, and enforce safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial ground-up construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage field teams, subcontractors, and jobsite operations.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, sequencing, and construction best practices.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam).
