Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in luxury residential construction.
- Extensive experience managing ground-up construction of high-end single-family homes.
- Familiarity with custom finishes, complex designs, and high-level client expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee all on-site activities for ground-up construction of luxury homes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Quality Control: Ensure the highest quality standards in materials, finishes, and construction techniques, meeting the expectations of discerning clients.
- Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain smooth workflow and project progress.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, anticipating potential delays and implementing proactive solutions.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, architects, designers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project.
- Safety Oversight: Enforce safety protocols and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address issues or conflicts, ensuring efficient resolution to maintain project momentum.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed project records, including daily logs, RFIs, and change orders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering high-end, luxury custom homes.
- Exceptional knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques specific to high-end residential projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural designs.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
