As a Project Manager specializing in electrical construction for multifamily projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of electrical subcontracting work. You will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and client specifications. This role requires travel approximately 25% of the time to project sites in the Cincinnati and Columbus, OH areas.

Key Responsibilities :
Project Oversight & Execution : Lead the management of electrical construction projects for multifamily buildings from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance.
Scheduling & Coordination : Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules. Coordinate with various teams, including internal staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure project timelines are met.
Budget Management : Prepare project budgets, manage costs, and ensure projects are completed within the defined financial parameters. Identify and resolve any potential budgetary issues.
Client & Stakeholder Communication : Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
Safety & Compliance : Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and local building codes. Monitor job sites for compliance and address any safety concerns.
Team Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to electrical foremen, crew members, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative team environment to ensure project success.
Problem Solving : Quickly and effectively resolve any issues that arise on-site, including scheduling conflicts, material delays, or labor shortages.
Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and any changes or issues. Provide regular updates to senior management and clients as required.
Qualifications :
Experience : 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager on multifamily or commercial projects.
Knowledge : Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
Skills : Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education : Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Travel : Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time to various project sites in the Cincinnati and Columbus areas.
Certifications : PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or other relevant certifications (preferred).
